Anzar High ended the Mission Trail Athletic League girls volleyball season on a high note Wednesday by defeating Pacific Grove 15-8, 15-12, 5-15 and 15-12 in the Anzar gym.

The Hawks, 23-11 overall and 11-5 in the MTAL, now wait word of a possible Central Coast Section Division V berth Saturday afternoon.

Anzar was led by Kiely White’s 24 kills and Gena Ray’s 41 assists. Treva Crocker added 12 kills to go with six blocks for the Hawks. Leanna Hardy had seven kills, as did Casey Norton. Norton also had four blocks and Justine Wiley chipped in 11 digs.
