Anzar cross country, which hadn’t had a meet in two weeks, picks
up where it left off

The Anzar cross country team, competing for the first time in two weeks, didn’t lose a step when they defeated Pacific Collegiate 18-48 on Thursday at Wilder Ranch.

Aaron Hsia-Coron finished first in 17:32 and teammate Christian Heath followed with a time of 18:26.

The Hawks will compete in the MTAL Center Meet next Thursday, Oct. 23, at Toro Park in Salinas. Meet time is 4 p.m.
