Police are investigating two separate shootings that occurred in recent days here, while there have been no suspects or victims located, according to the Hollister Police Department.

Police announced they are looking for help from the public to find those involved.

At about 4 p.m. Saturday, police responded to a call of shots fired on Felice Drive.

According to police, witnesses reported that two Hispanic males walking on Felice Drive got into an argument with someone in a passing white van. Police alleged one of the two males pulled out a handgun and opened fire on the van, shattering one of the windows. The van then drove north on Felice before turning around and coming back, as the two males jumped a fence and fled the area, according to a police statement. Witnesses reported that the white van also fled the area westbound on San Juan Road.

According to police:

The two suspects were described as 15 to 25 years old. One was wearing a black shirt with the number 18 on the back, shorts and a black baseball hat. He was about 5 feet 6 inches tall. The second suspect was about 5 feet 4 inches tall, and also wore a black baseball hat, along with blue jeans and a black jersey with the number 23 in red.

In the second reported incident at about 10 p.m. Monday, the Hollister Police Department responded to shots fired on the 700 block of Nash Road.

Patrolling officers in the area heard several shots fired, and 911 dispatchers at the same time started getting reports from residents of shots fired as well.

Police found three shell casings on the road and reported there were no related injuries at area hospitals or damage to nearby property. Police found no witnesses.

According to police: The people who had called to report the incident described the sound of a vehicle, possibly an import, that sped away from the scene. The vehicle is described as having a modified exhaust system.

Police are investigating these two incidents but need help from witnesses who may know who fired the weapons.
