Passed away in Hollister surrounded by his two closest friends, Vince Pryor and Roger Hawes. He was a most loyal friend to both of them. He was born in Oklahoma City, OK and went to work in the oil fields in Texas after graduating from high school. He had a most interesting life that included rebuilding and refinishing engines and automobiles, he managed a wrecking yard, he was into weight lifting in his younger years and did it competitively. He married Diane Camel in 1985. He served in the US Army in the late 1950’s. He liked to fish and hunt, enjoyed wildlife and his word was his bond. Prior to his death he managed the industrial yard for Vince Pryor, his very close friend. He will be greatly missed by those closest to him.

His memorial services will be on Thursday, April 30, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Black Cooper Sander Funeral Home. Rev. Ardyss Golden of the United Methodist Church will officiate.
