The weight transfer and timing of the swing must go hand and
hand in order to execute a successful shot. It doesn’t matter how
hard you swing, if those forces are working against one another,
you will not succeed.

The secret is to keep the swing mechanics simple. Your mind can absorb simple thoughts better than complex ones. So how about this for simple: At the top of your backswing, make sure your hands are over your back shoulder and never below it.
Make sure your weight is over your back foot. On the downswing, transfer that weight and those hands so you finish with your hands over your front shoulder and your weight over your front foot.
The golf swing is not trying to fool you. The transfer of weight simply follows the direction the club is traveling. It’s traveling back on the backswing and forward on the downswing and at the finish.
It is often said that golf is a simple game, and only we make it complicated. Keep it simple.
