The San Benito girls basketball finished in sixth place in the Seaside Sweet 16 after a 55-44 loss to Seaside on Tuesday night.
The Balers went 47 percent (17 for 36) from the field but committed 29 turnovers in the game.
“We did not take good care of the ball in the second half,” said Baler coach Tom Dean. “We again had trouble taking care of a press. We had numerous turnovers with bad passes against their press.”
Jaime Hall had 14 points and ninerebounds, and Trisha Lee had 11 points.
Both players were named to the All-Tournament team. Mallorie Wilson had seven points and Dani Andrewson had six points. Cortney Almaguer, Jaime Flores and Johni Kieswetter each had two points.
The next game is a home game Saturday against Alisal at 4 p.m
