Alaskan home Sunday, July 13, at the age of 77.

Former Hollister resident Larry D. Labuguen Sr. died in his Alaskan home Sunday, July 13, at the age of 77.

Labuguen was originally from the Philippine Islands and recently moved to Alaska to live near his daughter. He was an agricultural machinist prior to his retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife Amparo S. Labuguen. He is survived by children Johnny, Marcos and Elmer Labuguen, all of Hollister, Larry Labuguen of San Jose, Rosalie Dalton of Sacramento, Marilyn Deykes of Chugiak, Alaska, Fernando Labuguen of New York and Evangelina Jenkinson of Michigan. Labuguen is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may visit the Grunnagle-Ament-Nelson Funeral Home on Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday at 8:30 a.m. proceeding to Sacred Heart Catholic Church for a funeral Mass that begins at 9 a.m. Graveside services and burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
