Hector Angel Del Real entered into eternal life in Hollister at the age 49 on May 13, 2008. He was born in Los Angeles but moved to Hollister as a young boy where he has been a life long resident. He worked in Environmental Management (Hazardous Waste Disposal) for the past 27 years. He opened his company One Earth Environmental, Inc. in 1994. He married his wife Annette Casarez Del Real in 1979 in Hollister. He served in the US Navy from 1976 to 1982 and was a member of St. Benedicts Catholic Church & Hillside Christian Fellowship. In his free time Hector enjoyed Riding his Harleys, fishing, hunting, camping, traveling and he loved spending time with his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents Pete and Mi Chuy Bueno and mother-in- law, Rosemary Casarez.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Annette Casarez Del Real of Hollister, his daughter Venessa E. Del Real of Hollister and his son Vincent A. Del Real of Hollister, his Father Salvador Del Real and Mother Angelita Bueno Del Real of Hollister, his brothers Jesus (Goonie) Del Real of Hollister, Salvador Del Real of Hollister, Raul Del Real of Hollister, Samuel Del Real of Hollister, Javier Del Real of Rio Rico, AZ., his sisters Aurora Del Real of Hollister, Gloria Del Real of Hollister, Delia Gutierrez of Hollister, Angie Del Real of Live Oak, Erma Olivo of Live Oak and Sylvia Stamper of Boston, MA. He is also survived by family members Debbie Casarez of Hollister, Larry Casarez of Hollister, Sonya Chavez of Hollister, Lulee Jimenez of Gilroy and many, many nieces and nephews.
Friends can pay their respects on Wednesday, May 21, 2008 from 8:00 A.M. until 10:30 A.M. at St. Benedict’s Church. Following the visitation a mass celebrating his life will begin at 11:00 A.M. at St. Benedict’s Church. Entombment will follow the Mass at Calvary Cemetery in Hollister.
