History: The concept of taking healthy meals on the road with our food truck and meal plan delivery service was the brain child of founder Rafael Rojas. After years of eating a diet made up of mostly junk, Rafael found he was obese. With a young family, Rafael decided if he was going to live long enough to see his children grow up he needed to make a change fast.
As an entrepreneur Rafael founded Lean on Wheels which would not only promote healthy living and meals to customers, but would also motivate Rafael to pursue a healthy lifestyle himself. He met chef Aaron Vaden, who is a gourmet chef with a nutritional background as well as a competitive body builder and fitness coach. Aaron started Rafael on a regimen of eating Lean on Wheels meals and regular exercise. Rafael has lost close to 100 pounds and feels a huge difference in his energy capacity and is passionate about Lean on Wheels’ ability to help others.
Based in San Jose, we see our future expanding throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California. If you’re hungry and want a meal that tastes great and is a healthy alternative to typical food truck fare, check us out.
We also discovered that “brides to be” could benefit from our meal plans while planning for their weddings. Women have mentioned how stressful planning a wedding is and how difficult it is to focus on staying the right size or losing the weight necessary to fit into their wedding dress. Stress can change the body’s shape and when it comes to looking your best on one of the most important days of your life, it’s important to eat healthy.
