I love your list. It harks back to to Esquire’s Dubious Achievement Awards but I wanted to add one of my own. Wasn’t this the year that Britney tongued Madonna to make her image a little more “edgy”? But isn’t she a fundamentalist Christian and a Bush supporter? I’m really confused here because she wears a cross around her neck along with sexy lingerie while having her tongue firmly ensconced down Madonna’s throat. Is she a saint or a sinner? I guess if you’re a Britney fan you can have it all, you can be pious and be a slut at the same time! And let’s not forget getting married twice in one calendar year. Too bad the idiots in Washington won’t protect the sanctity of marriage from the likes of Britney. What’s up with that? I’ll bet it’s the “ick factor”. Bannings gays from marrying because it’s icky is so much easier than banning dimbulbs like Britney from breeding. What a pity.
