Thank Goodness Local Bars, Restaurants Are Smoke-Free

Recently I was having a conversation with a co-worker who had taken a trip to South Dakota and Iowa.
She was telling me about this one truck stop that was very difficult to eat in because it was filled with cigarette smoke.
I shared with her about my boyfriend and I going to Tahoe this past summer and how we were both caught off guard when the hostess at one of the restaurants asked us if we wanted to be seated in the smoking or non-smoking section.
Even though we sat in the non-smoking section, we could still smell the smoke drifting over from the smoking section.
I am truly thankful that all of the bar/restaurants in San Benito County are smoke-free.
