According to parent Christine Shafer, the kids put in many extra hours of preparation to qualify for the junior olympics. The kids swam and practiced with their junior olympic teams in addition to their work with their regular club teams. The experience was amazing as they got ot play with kids from all over the country as well as form new friendships, Christine wrote in an e-mail.
