The League of United Latin American Citizens on Nov. 11 will present its 22nd annual Veterans Breakfast. It is set for 7 a.m. to noon at the San Benito High School cafeteria. The price is $8, and the public is invited.
This year, LULAC will honor a family of veterans for the first time. The Nava family includes veterans George Nava from the U.S. Army, Tommy Nava from the U.S. Army, David Nava from the U.S. Army and Nathan Vasquez of the U.S. Marines.
LULAC will pay tribute to the family whose father, Louis Nava Sr., served during in the Navy for World War II.
Proceeds from the breakfast go to the LULAC Scholarship Fund.
