I’m a Class of ’79 Haybaler. Pay the price for law enforcement at the (Independence) rally and make vendors foot that bill. They are the only ones making out like banditos. Heck, don’t try to reinvent the wheel. Like the owner of The Vault suggested: Go to established successful events and just copy. That’s easy. Make Hollister the No. 3 event in the nation.

Copy Gilroy’s idea: Market it to your target market; have events for the target market; more bands like AjaVu; more events like X-games events will draw dads to bring their sons.

Get serious and put some smart folks in charge of this thing before it falls. Give credit to those that made it what it is today, but shore it up with some really strong community support.
