Singing Measure’s Upside in the Rain
Measure T would increase Hollister's sales tax from 7.25 percent to 8.25 percent, raising an estimated $3.5 to $4 million for the city's general fund. City staff have blamed financial problems – many brought on by Hollister's building moratorium – for staffing and service cuts in 2004 and 2006.
