The San Benito County Free Library announced it has added the StarWalk Kids Media Digital Streaming Collection to its available resources for both children and their parents.

Arts council to host children’s exhibit

The San Benito County Arts Council invites families, residents and art supporters to the third annual “Children’s Art Auction” from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m, Feb. 6 at the Mars Hill Coffeehouse 610 San Benito St. in downtown Hollister, featuring artwork from eight local preschools, music and light refreshments.

The Aromas Grange, 400 Rose Ave., presents Chris Webster and Nina Gerber in a show set for 4:30 p.m. Feb. 8. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. for dinner. Tickets are $18 in advance or $20 at the door.

Veterans’ Corner: VFW golf tourney, more on the calendar

The second annual VFW Golf Tournament will be June 19. Four-member scramble will be held at San Juan Oaks Golf Club. The cost will be $125 per person, $500 for a foursome. Money raised will be used for active duty banner and scholarship programs, as well as to help veterans in need.
