Arts council to host children’s exhibit
The San Benito County Arts Council invites families, residents and art supporters to the third annual “Children’s Art Auction” from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m, Feb. 6 at the Mars Hill Coffeehouse 610 San Benito St. in downtown Hollister, featuring artwork from eight local preschools, music and light refreshments.

Veterans’ Corner: VFW golf tourney, more on the calendar
The second annual VFW Golf Tournament will be June 19. Four-member scramble will be held at San Juan Oaks Golf Club. The cost will be $125 per person, $500 for a foursome.
