The Portuguese community in Hollister will host its annual celebration May 18, with the queen's coronation and dance at 9 p.m., at S.D.E.S Hall, 695 Seventh St. A parade will be held May 19, at 10 a.m., from the hall to Sacred Heart Church for 11 a.m. mass. Traditional Portuguese sopas will be served at the hall at 11 a.m., with an auction and dance to follow.
