Officers seek help in Safeway beer theft
Hollister Police officers are investigating a theft of beer from Safeway that allegedly occured on Feb. 3. They received a report of an Hispanic male entering the store at 591 Tres Pinos Road around noon. The man picked up two 18 packs of Corona beer from a display and walked toward the exit. A store employee confronted the man who continued to leave the store without paying.
Minor accident slows traffic on Tres Pinos Road
An accident involving two passenger cars on Tres Pinos Road closed the eastbound lane near Gold's Gym as emergency personnel worked to assess those involved for injuries and clear the roadway.
