Mission keeps him on his toes
Roger Grimsley has been involved in local politics for more than 40 years, stretching from his time as Hollister's city manager in the early 1970s through his current tenure as San Juan Bautista's city manager. San Juan makes manager title permanent for Grimsley
The San Juan Bautista City Council has removed the interim title from City Manager Roger Grimsley, extending the contract of the former engineer and longtime government worker who came out of retirement last summer to fill a leadership void created when Stephen Julian resigned in May.

Local police to focus on traffic enforcement near schools
The Hollister Police Department, the California Highway Patrol and the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office will be concentrating enforcement of traffic laws around Hollister Schools in an effort to encourage drivers to drive safely in school zones.
