32nd Annual Cioppino Feed & Dance: It’s coming
The Gilroy High School Athletic Association will host its 32nd annual Crab Cioppino Feed, Dance and Auction at 4:30 p.m. May 12 at Christopher Ranch at 305 Bloomfield Avenue in Gilroy. This popular event attracts people from throughout the Bay Area – approximately 1,000 attended in 2011.
Presbyterian preschool takes on a new direction
On Friday afternoon, Trisha Brem made her rounds on the playground at the Presbyterian Co-op Preschool. She knelt down by a water trough to talk with two students about the seashells with which they were playing and she sat on a stool to watch several girls dance in hula skirts.
Records: Police issued zero tickets for helmet law since 2011
The Hollister Police Department did not issue a single citation to minors for violating the state’s helmet law between 2011 and late September of this year, according to documents obtained by the Free Lance through a records request.
