Bowling tournament
Bowlers interested in competing in the 101st American Bowling Congress Championships Tournament in Reno, Nev. should get their entries in as soon as possible. So far, four teams from the Hollister area have signed up to compete. The ABC Tournament will be held at the National Bowling Stadium from Feb. 14-June 27. Football tryouts
The Central Coast Barnstormers, an amateur adult football team, will be holding a final fall mini-camp and tryout Sat., Dec. 6 at 9:30 a.m. at South Valley Junior High School in Gilroy. Adult hoops
The Hollister Recreation adult men’s and women’s winter basketball season begins Jan. 10. Registration ends Dec. 5. The cost is $600 if paid by Nov. 26. After that, it is $625. Teams are guaranteed to play 12 games. Details: 636-4390.
