It is an unspeakably cruel act. To poison District Attorney John Sarsfield's dogs, Whisper and Sundance, is a horrific display of inhumanity. And if it was done because of the prosecutor's political entanglements – police are looking into whether that is the case – the perpetrator must be held responsible and punished to the full extent of the law.
