The Oriana Chorale is shown in 2012.

The Oriana Chorale will be hosting its spring concerts in May. The vocalists will be singing Vivaldi’s “Gloria” and several other selections with the accompaniment of a string quartet, a trumpet and an oboe.

The performances will be:

May 16: Oriana will perform at Sacred Heart Church in Hollister. The acoustics in this intimate setting promise an evening of amazing sounds and emotions.

May 18: Oriana will perform at the Mission in San Juan Bautista. This historical site is the perfect setting, both in sound and in atmosphere, for classical music.

May 19: Oriana will conclude the trio of concerts at the First Presbyterian Church in Hollister. The amazing sound and openness of this venue will complement Vivaldi’s “Gloria.”

All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. Adult tickets are $15, students are $10 and children 12 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased at Mars Hill Coffee Shop in downtown Hollister; Postal Graphics on Airline Highway, Hollister; Visions of Christmas in San Juan Bautista; online at www.orianachorale.org; or at the door.
