Airport during World War II. One of his mates told him about a cute
girl working downtown at Chamber’s Five
&
amp; Dime on Fourth and San Benito streets. After a whirlwind
romance, they eloped in 1944. On August 28th, Don
&
amp; Dolly Pidd will be celebrating their 65th anniversary.
Their children, Linda and Donnie; their grandchildren Kathleen,
Cynthia, Christina, and Stefanie; and their eight precious
great-grandchildren all wish them a day filled with joy and
love.
