Seven candidates are facing off for three open seats on the San Benito High School District Board, while another seven candidates will vie for three open seats on the Hollister School District Board as well.
Those 14 candidates were among those who qualified to run for open seats on the November ballot before a Friday deadline, according to the San Benito County Elections Office.
In another prominent race on the ballot as reported by the elections office, county Supervisor Jerry Muenzer will face challenger Victor Gomez, a Hollister councilman.
