Hollister Police released photos of the robbery suspect, taken from security camera footage at the Quik Stop store on San Felipe Road.

Hollister Police are asking the public for help identifying a man who robbed a convenience store at gunpoint.

At 5:45am Feb. 16, an unknown man entered the Quik Stop at 10 San Felipe Road. The man pointed a handgun at one of the store employees and demanded money, according to Hollister Police. The clerk complied and gave the robber an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect ran out of the store and was last seen on foot going east on Santa Ana Road, police said.

The robber is described as a Hispanic male, about 5-feet 5-inches tall, thin build with a mustache, according to police. The suspect was wearing a dark, long-sleeved hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and red and black shoes.

The police department released photos from the store’s security cameras in seeking the public’s help identifying the robber.
