ALCOHOL-RELATED ACCIDENT: Timothy Valencia, 19, of 60 Los Altos Dr. in Hollister, was life-flighted to San Jose Medical Center with internal injuries and injuries to his head and knee after crashing his 1995 Honda Civic into two road signs, a parked 1973 Lincoln Continental and a fence at Sunnyslope and Dry Creek roads at 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday. Hollister police found beer in Valencia’s car and there was a strong odor of alcohol, but he was conscious and acting “obnoxious and bleeding all over the place” when officers arrived, police said. Valencia also has an outstanding warrant for a rape that occurred about a year ago, police said. Both vehicles were totaled.

The girl was standing too close to the car when it turned abruptly, swerved and ran over her foot. Her foot swelled but was not broken and Hollister police did not transport her to the hospital.
