Vandalism

Vandals broke the rear window, windshield and lights of a Mercedes at a home in the first block of Knight Lane in Hollister between 9pm Feb. 15 and 4am Feb. 16, the Hollister Police Department said. There are no suspects.

Vandals threw a rock at the rear window of a Chevrolet Tahoe in the 900 block of Nolte Alley in Hollister between midnight and 12:10am Feb. 15, police said. Damage is estimated to be $500, police said. There are no suspects.

Vandals threw an object at a Lexus sport utility vehicle driving westbound on Sunnyslope Road in Hollister, denting the door, at about 9pm Saturday, police said. There are no suspects.

Vandals broke the driver’s side window of a Chevrolet pickup truck in the 200 block of Maple Street in Hollister between 8:30pm Monday and 9:12am Tuesday, police said. There are no suspects.

Vandals threw a rock through an office window in the 300 block of Tres Pinos Road in Hollister at 6:30pm Friday, police said.

Auto theft

Thieves stole an F-150 from the parking lot of Gold’s Gym on Tres Pinos Road in Hollister between 11pm Feb. 16 and 7:18am Feb. 17, police said. There are no suspects.

Burglaries

Burglars used the rear door to enter a beauty shop in the 800 block of Washington Avenue in Hollister between 5pm Saturday and 8am Tuesday, police said. Burglars took $650 worth of scissors, various hair products worth about $700 and $50 in coins, police said. There are no suspects.

Burglars broke into a home through its front door in the first block of Line Street in Hollister between 8am and 5pm Tuesday, police said. Burglars took various electronics and tools worth $1,850, police said. There are no suspects.

Arrests

Drunken driving

Kim Marie Jenkins, 36, of the 1000 block of Sunnyslope Road in Hollister, was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, in the 1000 block of Sunnyslope Road in Hollister at 1:01am Saturday, police said. Jenkins was in a hit-and-run accident on South Street at 12:10am Saturday, police said.

Raul Mathew Casas, 30, of the 300 block of Haydon Street in Hollister, was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop at the intersection of San Benito Street and Third Street in Hollister at 2:15am Saturday, police said.

James Scott Kindred, 39, of the 1900 block of Glarner Street in Hollister, was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, and driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop on Sally Street in Hollister at 1:09pm Saturday, police said.

Juan Luis Garcia, 27, of San Juan Bautista, was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop in the first block of Hazel Street in Hollister at 11:36pm Saturday, police said.

Elias Alfonso Lopez, 23, of the 1600 block of Sausalito Drive in Hollister, was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop at Memorial Drive and Hillcrest Road in Hollister at 12:15am Sunday, police said.

Manuel Hernandez Rodriguez, 39, of the 1900 block of Bolsa Road in Hollister, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, and driving with a suspended license, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop on Highway 25 north of Highway 156 at 1:39am Tuesday, according to the CHP.

Drug possession

Robert Adam Dubois, 26, of San Juan Bautista, was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, a felony, after a traffic stop on Highway 156 west of Union Road at 11:45pm Monday, according to the CHP.

Emiliano Jesus Escoto, 26, of San Juan Bautista, was arrested by the CHP on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance, a felony, and possession of controlled substance paraphernalia, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop on Highway 156 west of Union Road at 11:45pm Monday, according to the CHP.

Drunk in public

Rebekah Francine Trail, 28, of Gilroy, was arrested by police on suspicion of being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, after officers found her unable to care for herself in the Bank of America parking lot on San Benito Street in Hollister at 2:25am Saturday, police said. Trail was wearing no pants and told officers that she was in Gilroy, police said.

Jonathan Bender, 18, of the 1600 block of Foxwood Street in Hollister, was arrested by police, along with a 15-year-old girl, on suspicion of being drunk in public, a misdemeanor, at the intersection of Steinbeck Drive and Westside Boulevard at 10:35pm Tuesday, police said.

All those named are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
