A residence was ransacked and multiple items were taken at about 11 a.m. Friday in the 1400 block of Las Brisas Drive in Hollister, police said. There are no suspects.

Vandalism

Gang-related graffiti was discovered between 9 p.m. Thursday and 7 a.m. Friday in the 1300 block of San Benito Street in Hollister, police said. There are no suspects.

Gang-related graffiti was discovered in the laundry room on an apartment building on Jan. 4 and Friday in the 1300 block of Westside Boulevard in Hollister, police said. There are no suspects.

Arrests

Restraining order violation

A 31-year-old Hollister man was arrested by San Benito County sheriff’s deputies on suspicion of violation of a court order to prevent domestic violence, a misdemeanor, after deputies responded to a disturbance call at 12:15 a.m. Sunday, deputies said.

Driving under the influence

A 26-year-old Beaverton, Oreg. man was arrested by the California Highway Patrol on suspicion of driving under the influence and driving without a license, both misdemeanors, after a traffic stop at 2:50 a.m. Sunday on Highway 25 south of Shore Road, according to the CHP.

A 22-year-old Hollister man was arrested by the Hollister Police Department on suspicion of driving under the influence and hit-and-run, both misdemeanors, after a crash at 6:50 p.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Falconi Way in Hollister, police said.

A 49-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, after a traffic stop at 8:23 p.m. Sunday on Hillcrest Road in Hollister, police said.

Battery

A 14-year-old Hollister girl was arrested by police on suspicion of battery, a misdemeanor, at 8:30 p.m. Friday in the 200 block of McCray Street in Hollister, police said. A girl’s hair was pulled, police said..

Resisting arrest

A 13-year-old Hollister boy was arrested by police on suspicion of resisting a peace officer, a misdemeanor, after officers found juveniles who matched the description of vandalism suspects at about 12:30 a.m. Saturday in the 1400 block of McCray Street in Hollister, police said. A boy interfered with the officers’ interview of the other juveniles, police said.

Burglary

An 18-year-old Hollister man was arrested by police on suspicion of burglary and receiving stolen property, both felonies, after officers responded to a call at noon Friday in the 1900 block of Parkview Circle in Hollister, police said.
