Crews continue pothole repairs in Hollister

With all the rainy weather as of late, it was difficult for Hollister public works crews to get out and fill the many potholes that had been showing up around the city. One of the bad areas was along Maple Street right in the middle of the road, but the city workers got out recently and took care of the problem, filling the potholes.

As streets official Marcelo Orta explained recently to the Pinnacle, crews had to wait until conditions got warmer before they addressed the potholes. The ground gets so unstable with wet weather, it causes problems when pouring asphalt.
