Gavilan College walked over visiting Napa College 91-61 in men’s basketball Friday at the Rams’ den.
The Rams were paced by former Live Oak star Jody McAlpine, who totaled a game-high 24 points. Steve Silacci had 19 points while Maurice Davis had 10 for Gavilan.
The victory came two days after the Rams were downed at home by Reedley College 72-49.
Gavilan will play the rest of the season without guard LJ Nicholson, who quit the team for personal reasons last Thursday. Nicholson started three out of four Rams games to start the season.
The Rams are at Los Medanos (Pittsburgh) Tuesday night before returning home to host West Hills Saturday at 5 p.m.
