kicks off a week’s worth of events at the Bolado Park Fairgrounds
this weekend.
The 76th Annual San Benito County Saddle Horse Show and Rodeo kicks off a week’s worth of events at the Bolado Park Fairgrounds this weekend.
A memorial roping event dedicated to former competitors Richie Fehlman, Kenny Vierra and Tommy Carreiro starts at 8 a.m. on Saturday in the Bolado Park arena. Admission is free.
On Sunday, the fairgrounds will host Figure-8 and jackpot roping events that are also no charge to watch.
Additionally, the annual rodeo week window judging contest put on by the San Benito County Chamber of Commerce is set for 11 a.m. Wednesday. This year’s queen, Alyssa Abercrombie, and other contestants are set to judge the local businesses’ windows while starting at the chamber office.
