Two candidates have pulled away in the race for three seats on
the Hollister School District Board of Trustees, while a third
candidate has a 109-vote margin for the last seat with slightly
more than 3,000 provisional and absentee ballots left to count,
according to unofficial results.

Eight candidates are running for three open seats on the board.

Michal Query received 17.3 percent of the vote. Following Query, Joe Navarro had 15.6 percent. Elsa Rodriguez had 14.4 percent, or 2,249 votes. David Redman had 13.7 percent, or 2,140 votes.

Others included Chuck Spandri with 10.6 percent, Elizabeth Sims with 10 percent, incumbent Bea Gonzales-Ramirez with 9.5 percent, and Lupe Navarro with 8.6 percent.
