The senior class defeated the juniors at the powder puff football game on Friday night at Andy Hardin Stadium.

After the juniors beat the freshmen, and the seniors defeated the sophomores, the two classes met up for the championship game.

And after ending regulation in a 6-6 tie, it went to the tiebreaker, where each team got four downs to compile as many yards possible.

But the seniors did one better when Rachel Maheu caught a touchdown pass to put the senior class up for good 12-6.

The game, which is a fundraiser for the ASB at SBHS, raised approximately $3,900 at the gate, and activities director Juan Robledo expects to raise approximately $5,000 to $6,000 when everything is counted.

“It’s a fundraiser, but it’s a fun fundraiser. It’s fun for the girls,” Robledo said. “We had a good time.”
