The boys basketball team kept its league record perfect Friday with a 78-45 blowout of Alisal.
The win gives the Balers a 4-0 league record and a 13-3 overall record.
Friday’s game showcased the Balers offensive. Nine players scored for the Balers – led by Isaiah Acfalle’s 24 points.
Jordan Belton added 19 points, Brian Becerra, and Hyram Miskin each scored eight for the Balers.
The Balers travel to Salinas on Wednesday in rematch of the Balers’ 51-50 loss in the Condor Classic in December.

SBHS girls basketball
After falling to Notre Dame in a defensive struggle, the girls basketball team returned to its winning ways Thursday, beating Alisal 41-24.
San Benito jumped out to a 11-2 lead after the first quarter and never relented.
The Balers finished the game outscoring Alisal in every quarter.
San Benito is now 2-2 in league play and 9-7 overall. The Balers host Salinas at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

AHS girls soccer
With two second-half goals, the Hawks beat Trinity Christian 2-0 Thursday to win the season’s first league game.
The win gives the Hawks a 7-4 overall record.
In the 65th minute, Anzar’s Ana Madrigal started the scoring for the Hawks. Three minutes later Alex Flores added a goal of her own. Brianna Miltimore added assists on both goals.
The Hawks travel to Marina on Tuesday. The game starts at 3:30 p.m.

AHS Boys soccer
The Hawks allowed two first half goals, and lost 3-0 to Stevenson on Friday. The loss was the third game in a row the Hawks failed to score a goal.
So far in three league games, Anzar has been outscored 15-0.
The Hawks travel to York at 3:30 p.m. Friday.
