A barn owl rescued in San Juan Bautista in May, was released Friday evening at the Outdoor Sports Complex corporation yard in Morgan Hill.

The 4-month-old was one of four downy nestlings that fell from their tree nest. It was rehabilitated at the Wildlife Education and Rehabilitation Center in Morgan Hill.
