Sandra K. Rose Hamby, 78 years young, passed away on the 8th day of August 2015, due to heart complications.
Sandra (Sandy) was born in January 20, 1937 the daughter of Casey and Kathleen Paxton in Pratt, Kansas. Sandy and husband, Floyd Rose (deceased) moved to California and started the family business, Prunedale Chevron. She was also a very active member of “Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority” for many years.
She had a coffee group of ladies she met with often. Sandy shared her kindness in many other ways. Her proudest of all was being with family.
Sandy married John Hamby and moved to Hollister where they spent 21 years together in their beautiful home.
Sandy leaves behind her husband, John, sons, Jack and his sweetheart, Michelle, Brad and his wife, Sheila, sister, Kadeane Rowan and husband, Terry. Two grandsons, Casey and his wife, Amy, Lucas Rose. Brother-in-law, Merle Rose (wife Beth) and her pride and joy, Sandy’s two great-granddaughters, Aubrey and Chloe Rose, her little darlings. Three step- grandchildren, Jeff (wife Tina) Lori (husband, Kenny), Teri (companion, Robert) and other family members from Kansas to California.
She was a very proud lady, an amazing wife, mom, great grandma, Nana. We will miss you!
She was very proud of all her children.
