San Juan Oaks Golf Club is participating in the Golf Digest Woman and National Golf Course Owners Association (CGCOA) sponsored “Take your Daughter to the Course Week”. The event takes place July 7-13.
Golf courses across the country are offering special promotions designed to get girls involved in golf. Last year over 300 member courses participated and over 7,000 girls took advantage of the event.
San Juan Oaks Head Golf Professional and past LPGA National Professional of the Year, Kathy Wake, will conduct a free golf clinic on the San Juan Oaks range on both July 9 and 10 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
After each clinic, daughters, granddaughters and nieces (17 years-old-and-younger) play San Juan Oaks free. Their share of the cart fee is also free when accompanied by a paying adult.
