A magnitude-3.3 earthquake shook near the San Juan Bautista area after 2 p.m. today.

The earthquake occurred at 2:13 p.m. and was centered two miles south-southwest of San Juan, seven miles southeast of Aromas and nine miles west-southwest of Hollister, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The quake occurred at a depth of 4.4 miles, according to the USGS.

There was no immediate damage reported to the San Benito County Sheriff’s Office.
