The Anzar boys’ soccer team was shutout by a 9-0 margin against visiting Carmel on Wednesday afternoon in Mission Trail Athletic League action.
The Padres led 5-0 at halftime before tacking on four more goals in the second half.
As a result, the Hawks fall to 2-4 in the MTAL, 3-6 overall.
Anzar will return to its home field in San Juan Bautista on Friday when it will host King City at 4 p.m.
