A wedding to remember is celebrated in South County
Well it’s about that time down here in South County when
shipping season is finally starting to wind down while one South
County school is getting ready to start up. King City High School
begins their new school year on Aug. 3 this year which is just
crazy to me; that’s just way too early for me. At least they will
be getting out a little earlier next year.

Birthday wishes go out to several South County folks who celebrated birthdays recently while a big get well wish goes out to Roberta Oswald. Roberta has been hospitalized for the past week but she is on the mend now and hopes to be home by this weekend. While she was on bed rest in town, some of the Oswald family hosted a July birthday dinner for those family members who celebrated recently. Enjoying the birthday get together at Ruth and Roberta’s home were Janet Oswald, Ruth Records, Kenny and Valerie Reed, Tim and Nancy Solari and Barbara O’Connor. Kenny celebrates his birthday July 22. Birthday wishes also go out to Shari Popnoe who celebrated her birthday on July 21.

Congratulations go out to Mr. and Mrs. Brendon Clark who were married last Saturday at the home of the bride’s parents, Greg and Carolyn Renz. It was such a beautiful and fun wedding and we were so happy to be in attendance to help the couple celebrate. It was a star studded event with many of the Professional Bull Riders Association top riders on hand to help celebrate.Luke Snyder, winner of “The Last Man Standing” event in Las Vegas last April was Brendon’s best man, while other well-known riders Justin McBride and Ross Coleman were groomsmen along with Wyatt Bourdet and Allison’s brother Allan Renz. Brody was in seventh heaven with all those bull riders at the wedding! Bridesmaids included Allison’s sister Shannon, Mandy Roth Linquist, Melanie Martin White, Natalie Murray and Nicci Pedrazzi DeRoza. Flower girls were Addison McBride and Braydee Bourdet while ring bearers were Cooper and Cruse Coleman. Allison was walked down the aisle by her dad Greg to the theme from “The Man From Snowy River” and her mom Carolyn looked very happy and beautiful as well.

Brendon had a lot of family in town from Australia, including his parents Brian and Betty Clark. Bill Rist was the officiant and a song was performed by Kevin Denney.

After the ceremony and a delicious dinner, guests danced the night away to the music from the Cadillac Cowboys. During the evening, guests were also able to take part in a good-old fashioned “Photo Booth” where they were able to take fun photos that will be included in Brendon and Allison’s wedding album. Guests were able to take their photos home as the wedding favor. We came home with several fun photos to remind us how much fun we had!

Some of those attending the event included: John and Tina Bourdet, Bill and DeeCee Donati, Alex and Laura Naccarato, Billy and Dana Aviles, Cash Robinson, Wyatt and Lacy Bourdet, Dave and Debbie Pedrazzi, Sam Swan and Kelly, Amber and Jarrod and me, Todd, Sierra and Brody, just to name a few. Allison did an awesome job planning her wedding, so much so that she could go into business planning weddings.

Congratulations and best wishes once again to Brendon and Allison.
