I hope everyone had a safe and Happy Halloween last week, South County kids had plenty of opportunity to get lots of candy.

Jefferson School hosted an Egyptian Halloween party at their school on Halloween Day. They invited the students from Bitterwater Tully School as well as community members. The Jefferson students were studying Egyptian history so they tied that into their Halloween Party. Everyone who attended agreed it was a lot of fun.

King City High School celebrated homecoming festivities last week. Congratulations to the JV and Varsity football teams on their wins last Friday night against Robert Lewis Stevenson School. Congratulations also goes out to South County’s Jacy Falsey for being crowned a Homecoming Duchess.

Art work from some of the students at Bitterwater Tully School is being displayed at the Starbucks near Nob Hill in Hollister. Be sure to stop by and comment on the students art work.

Birthday wishes go out to Stan Pura who celebrated a big birthday last Saturday evening. Some of those attending his party from South County included Steve and June Rianda, John Rianda, Alex Romans, Ben Rianda, Les and Betty Sans and Guy and Kelly Falsey.
