Supervisor Anthony Botelho mentioned at Tuesday’s meeting how he walked into San Juan Bakery—not just for the baked goods, but also to see the new visitors center looks there.
Botelho lauded a group of local businesses that have launched a visitors center in the bakery. The effort comes years after the closure of the San Juan Bautista Chamber of Commerce and the county chamber’s unsuccessful attempt to run a visitors center in the Mission City.
Botelho said the visitors center is “great to see” and could benefit the whole county.
“It’s a nice little visitors center,” Botelho said. “I highly recommend the donuts and stopping by and supporting the effort.”
