Despite the loss, San Benito’s Quinn Six still managed to record his second Central Coast Section qualifying time this season. One week after he swum a 22.77 in the 50 free, Six posted another CCS-worthy time in the 200 IM on Thursday, clocking a 2:06.63.
Meanwhile, on the girls side, Czsarina Isleta led the CCS-qualifying charge for a second straight week. She recorded fast enough times in three events a week ago against Valley Christian, including two individual events and one relay, and she did the same on Thursday against Notre Dame.
Isleta finished with a 2:16.21 in the 200 IM and a 56.38 in the 100 free, both of which were good enough for the year-end meet. She was also a part of the 200 free relay team, along with Caitlin Schafer, Katarina Ortiz and Haley Larson, which is CCS-bound too after recording a 1:47.77 at Hartnell College.
San Benito is off until next week when it will host Gilroy on Friday. Meet time is 3:30 p.m.
