You stated that a recent marketing survey revealed that readers would welcome a facelift and renewed local news focus. Local news is what I thought the Free Lance was supposed to be all about.
The new look is different. The
banner title of Hollister Free Lance is certainly very different. “Cosmetically we hope you’ll agree….” In the words of a very wise person who once said, “If you are going to tear something down, make very certain that what you put in it’s place is better.”
“Vibrant … reader friendly… this new look to an old friend … and after 130 years ….”
Well, I guess you thought you had to do it. Time will tell if you were correct.
