Tiffany Ford in Hollister is honoring Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is October, by touting the pink theme associated with the cause and holding a “Learn to Drive a Ford Model A” event Oct. 2.

The event is set for 9 a.m. to noon Oct. 2 at the business located at 300 Gateway Drive. It is one of many events Tiffany Ford has held this year in line with its 100th anniversary.

Aside from decorating the business with pink, including cars, the business is holding the event that will include instruction from Vicki Wildman with the Cherry A’s and the Santa Clara Valley Chapter of the Model A Club of America.

Included with the $5 registration fee is an introduction and lesson, hands-on driving, lunch, a Model A driving certificate and patch, and a “Warriors in Pink” bandana, according to Tiffany Ford.

Also, on behalf of every driving participant, Tiffany Ford will make a donation of the driver’s choice – to Hope for a Cure or the Susan G. Koman Breast Cancer Foundation.
