It is with great sorrow that we bid farewell to a revered son, brother, husband, father and dear friend to all. After a valiant fight against odds that were stacked against him, we now know that our beloved Tim is in a better place, serving the higher purpose for which he was always intended.

To say he touched lives would be an understatement for he touched hearts, he moved souls. Through his humor, humbleness and humanity, Tim made each life he came into contact with better. Tim had so many talents, and was the consummate musician. His beloved band, the Brownies, was an integral way in which he channeled his bright spirit, touched lives and celebrated life. Through his music, Tim’s impact was immeasurable, his songwriting unparalleled, his melody far reaching and his fan base infinite. His very pulse had a beat of its own, and although our hearts are heavy at the loss of Tim, they are full in the knowledge that he is elsewhere, creating music and laughter for the masses.

Tim is survived by the loves of his life – wife, Michelle and children, Mikaela and Jacob; his mother, Mary, brother, Kelly, sister, Jarmaine, and many more dear family and friends.

There’s a time to live and die…and there’s a time to laugh and cry…and there comes a time in all our lives when we must sit down and feel high…listen to the jammin’ – Tim Kahihikolo

Tim cherished life and lived it to the fullest, each day was a gift and he gave back with fervor. Although his time with us was short, it was long on love, passion, laughter and living and we are honored to have known him, blessed to have loved him and comforted by the love he continues to return to us, tenfold. We love you, brother. God bless.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Tim’s beautiful, bountiful life on Friday, March 11, 2011:
