‘Avenue Q’ at Paper Wing Theatre: Paper Wing Theatre will present “Avenue Q,” the Tony-Award winning musical that involves puppets, at 320 Hoffman Avenue, in Monterey. Living history demos at Wilder Ranch: Living history demonstrations and ranch tours will be available Jan. 12, at 11 a.m., with a tour of the ranch at 1 p.m., at Wilder Ranch State Park, 1401 Old Coast Road, in Santa Cruz. Buddhist meditation: Join in a free Buddhist mediation session, Jan. 16, at 7:30 p.m., in the Barbara Memorial Room at the San Benito County Free Library, 470 Fifth St. in Hollister.
