Police are looking for this armed robbery suspect.

Hollister police released more details about two robberies Monday at Andy’s All About Fruit and Happy Cafe.

The armed robberies occurred at the health-food shop and restaurant about an hour and 15 minutes apart Monday night.

Here is the statement:

On Jan. 30, two area businesses were robbed at gunpoint.

On January 30, 2017, at about 7:11 P.M. a male subject walked into Andy’s, 193 McCray Street, placed a dark cover over his face, walked to the checkout counter and produced a handgun. He demanded money from the store clerk. The suspect took an undisclosed amount of money from the cash register and ran out of the store.

The store clerk described the subject as a male, 5-04, thin build, in his early twenties. He was described as wearing, tan or grey pants, a dark hoodie sweatshirt and a dark colored mask.

About 8:25 P.M. on the same evening, two males entered the Happy Café, 191 San Felipe Road. The first male walked up to the counter, produced a black handgun and demanded money from one of the businesses’ employees. The second male watched the door. The suspect was given cash then the two males fled the area on foot.

The suspect with the handgun description was very similar to that of the previous robbery. The second male was described as being 5’-03”, thin build, in his early twenties, wearing all black clothing and a mask. Two additional persons were seen in the area, but their involvement is not known at this point. Both suspects are still outstanding and are considered armed and dangerous.

This is an ongoing investigation and police officers are still speaking to witnesses and anyone in the area that may have seen the suspects.

Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity is asked to call Officer Pompa at the Hollister Police Department at 636-4330. Those wishing to remain anonymous can call the WeTip hotline at 800-87-CRIME. Information provided to WeTip may qualify for a reward.
