Dyer won the girls 16-17 year-old age group at Monday’s qualifier at Ridgemark Golf and Country Club. Dyer shot a 78-72 – 160.

Fling won the 16-17 boys division with an impressive 70-69 – 139, clipping Daniel Lim of Gilroy and Brody Hammon of Fallon, NV, who both shot 142. Peter Romanowsky of San Jose shot a 75-68 – 143.

Brittany Smith of Rancho Murieta shot a 87-83 – 170 in the girls 16-17 division. Kathleen Rojas of Turlock carded a nine-hole 51 in the 12-and under girls division, while presumably sister Ester Rojas of Turlock shot a 68.

Blake Yu of Alameda won the 13-15 year-old boys category with a 74-74 – 148. Charlie Lockwood of Fallon, NV was second at 162. Kyle Baumann of Incline Village, NV was third at 165, while Diego Chavez of Navarro, Jalisco, Mexico was third at 174.

Steve Mesich of Sacramento won the 12-and under group with a 54.
